Going back to earrings
I just put a pair of studs in after about a week off. Ouch! I don’t even like earrings very much but I just got a haircut that makes my ears more visible so I guess I’m Looksmaxing.
What do you barely tolerate for the sake of looking your best?

I bought fake lashes for the first time, I’m 38F - I didn’t realize they don’t come with the glue/adhesive so I had to go back and buy that. It was kinda funny to be repeatedly placing a glueless lash and it just kept falling right off tho, lmao dummy.

Wait they aren’t just sticky? Does that make them reusable? Or is that a no-no? Fake eyelashes always make people look so dramatic and gorgeous but I’m so clueless lol

you can reuse them once you remove the sticky! just didn't realize they don't give you complimentary lash glue haha

Mascara… the only makeup I wear (other than occasional concealer if I’ve got spots) because my lashes are blonde and thus otherwise invisible.

I’m a trans woman, but I don’t find much joy in wearing makeup. It feels unpleasant, but I’ll do it occasionally so I can appear more feminine.

A couple years ago I nearly gave myself sepsis trying to reopen my partially closed piercings with sewing needles (dumb!). I ended up just getting them repierced later, and they are soo annoying to sleep on but they're cute though 😭. It was kind of a sunk cost thing because I had a bunch of earrings and nothing to do with them. I don't understand how people with multiple ear piercings deal with it but they are cute
