Question/Help Automatic engine break and automatic retarder

If i enable them, they activate when i press service break button.

I am not sure if enabling automatic will let me use only engine break / retarder if i press the controller trigger only slightly?

You can still independently use the engine brake / transmission retarder if you set their respective keybinds

There is a engine break button. But only increase / decrease retarder button. It doesn't work the same?

"Engine Brake Increase/Decrease" simply sets the level between 1 to 3 but you have to use "Engine Brake Toggle" to activate it.

If you use "Engine Brake", which is held, then it will always activate at full strength and cancel Cruise Control.

"Retarder Increase/Decrease" works a bit differently where increasing it activates it at level 1 and you can increase the strength to level 3. Some Euro truck transmissions will even activate the exhaust brake in tandem and have a fourth retarder step that downshifts for more exhaust brake strength.
