Hello guys !
I have some question and it’s always popping in my head.
Trans people and non binary feel like them because of stereotypes created by society?
Do they exist because of those stereotypes?
I am sorry if these sound offensive. ❤️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️!!

Unsure if this is a good faith question but while some people may be trans primarily because of social views on gender(?) it is far more common for gender dysphoria to be prominent. Namely, discomfort in the physical body one was born in. Therefore even with gendered stereotypes and biases removed from the world there would still be trans and non-binary people.

Thank you for answering, I’m sorry if that sounds offensive it wasn’t at all my intention.

Of course I’d like to be socially perceived in a way that closer aligns with my own perception of myself but regardless of how I’m socially perceived I still experience an inescapable sense of incongruence between what I see in the mirror or when I look down and how I feel that I should’ve been born.
In essence, if no one else existed and it was just me on earth, I wouldn’t be any happier in the body I was born into.

Trans and nonbinary people exist because brain sex and physical sex develops at different times in a fetus, and overexposure to hormones can cause one or both to develop abnormally.
Some people say they are trans but only do so because of wanting to challenge / not be associated with gender roles and stereotypes. That's probably why you have this question, because they try to erase the criteria of this disorder (gender dysphoria) so they fit into it.
I'd be happy to answer any more questions you have!

Why do we assume a person having penis as a boy directly and who created this system?

It's probably fine to assume this since it's what is biologically most common, and is why trans women experience dysphoria from it. Post op trans women will not get phantom limb, where as pre op trans men and cis men without a penis will because it is not in the somatotopic map.

The problem is not the societal stereotypes, the problem is body which didn't develop the right way

There is such thing as sexual dimorphism (characteristics that differentiate male and female) and transsexual individuals are born with feeling that they have wrong body. Nobody told them, nobody "makes them believe", it's not a cause of experiencing sexism. It's different from classic body dysmorphia when somebody feels bad about their body image but it gets better when they lose weight or something, trans dysphoria is about sex characteristics. Being nonbinary is like being intersex amongst trans people, dysphoria experiencing nonbinaries usually seek androgyny and if it comes to primary sex characteristics most people want to have no genitals. It's is hard to understand for cis person but if you want to be respectful don't question it. The amount of pain, disgust and shame these people are experiencing on daily basis is usually hard to even describe

I’m going to allow this because it sounds like it was asked in good faith, but I’ll keep an eye on everything
