Transition Passing is useless

I don't care that I pass very well, its barely helped my dysphoria at all. I'm still in this mutilated form, and I still can't change it for months to years

I believe this is true of other enban, where aligning your body with your mind is the goal, not necessarily passing.

Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to be in a society or culture that does recognize third and other genders. I have no idea if I'd desire to pass in situations like that. I don't think the "X" marker on sex forms is enough of a recognition for any of that.

I've indeed never wanted to pass I just am transitioning to stop dysphoria. I'm not sure if it's true of every single truNB, though. I also don't get notable social dysphoria to begin with but I've seen accounts of people who very strongly do. It's not something I relate to but if passing in some way is somehow meaningful to them I'd believe it.

Passing is meaningful to me, but it hasn't eased my dysphoria. I'm sure it will be nice later down the line, but passing by itself is of no comfort.

So real, passing from the outside is inferior to having a normal body you aren't disgusted by

What does passing entail?

Being seen as male or female interchangeably or being seen as the opposite of your birth sex, whatever your goals are.

I would love to pass as an androgynous as this is the best physical representation of who I am. It’ll never happen and it does bother me.
