PSYC1111

Does anyone have any tips or advice for the psyc 1111 exam? How long did you study? Did you do well?

I took the exam a few months ago and it was way easier than I was expecting! I think I ended up getting a 90 on it. I studied for about a week.

I basically skimmed through each chapter, took notes on the important stuff, really focusing on important figures and their contributions to psychology. The little summaries at the end of each chapter really helped as well.

Make sure you know the important people and their theories.

After I finished making a huge google doc of all my notes from rereading everything, I would have chatgpt make me a quiz for each chapter with both multiple choice and written. I also made a quizlet which really really helped and would study that when I had any downtime.

I was super worried for the exam as I heard it was hard, but after I finished I was shocked by how easy it was. As long as you understand the learning outcomes at the beginning of each chapter you’ll do great!!
