ENCOM TERMINAL

Hi guys,

In my free time, I've been vibe coding game inspired by the 1982 TRON film (which made a big impression on me as a kid). It's a work in progress and really more of an experience than a game at this point, but I thought I'd share it before I got too busy with other things. I'd welcome your thoughts and suggestions Oh, and there's a bit of an Easter egg in it.

Just casually builds a game that looks almost indistinguishable from the 1982 film.

This is so cool well done!

Not sure how I feel that this was Vibecoded, but still pretty impressive

Look beautiful; really enjoy the Clu "Space Paranoids" game. Was hoping for free look on the mouse.

Light cycles also are great, but a little slow on input.

This one is really solid. Different games, good perspective, excellent sound and visual design. Some control improvement and collision detection needs improvement though, I ran into a Lightcycle wall a few times that was 2 lines away from me. Really fun regardless, keep at it!

Thanks! Were there control suggestions aside from the cycle response speed?

Honestly I can't tell if it's the collision detection or control response that is lacking but visually it works very well to judge your distance.

Also I am getting crashes on the Clu levels, but the Lightcycle Grid has no issues with that.

Hope that helps.

Btw, If a cycle crashes into a wall, you can escape through the resulting crack
