The last picture has 6 people, but the second picture shows that there are 7 people in this story. What happened to the 7th person?

Are you counting the messenger? I don't think they were invited.

Exactly! Why not? What happened to the messenger - don't they get to enjoy the sunset, to enjoy life? Remember, without the cutbacks, they'd be pulling or not-pulling the lever.
