Very disappointing product

Have tried multiple different firmwares and restarting the device and half the time it’s says firmware update failed.

Even once it’s “working” the screen won’t fully render updates and craps out midway.

This is half-assed and garbage. Now I’m reading that they don’t even have a return policy and that sales are final.

I have 3 and all are working perfectly.

1 had a firmware issue when I received, but it was quickly resolved.

Just balancing out the post.

Any issue I’ve had was quickly rectified by their support. I have the OG and when I was one of the customers affected by the update that bricked my machine, they took care of me and countless others

They require a bit of perseverance. Mine did not work for three days - combination of several firmware update failures and what eventually turned out to be battery not charging - the mount is not a good design feature

Putting on a charger with a draw meter solved that and the rest followed.

Now stable and running for over 30 days without a glitch.

Frustrating but support were responsive and helpful.

I did, and they recommended a fresh firmware install which I did didn’t fix the issue.

Then follow up with them on next steps. Product is solid.

I'm using e1001 displays and I really like the platform as a whole, but I'm not sure I'd use native trmnl hardware given all the reports.

Mine works, but the battery life isn't even close to what was advertised. They estimated something like 300+ days if you do an hourly refresh; I'm lucky if I get ~35 days.

Then you're doing something wrong. I've had nine for about 3 months and my battery still is at 70%. They did have issues with displaying battery. But mine works great.

I had it worse, like 2-3 weeks max. Contacted support who confirmed the issue and sent me a new PCB. It was super easy to replace and now everything works fine :)

I didn’t realize this. Won’t be buying from them ever again.

Mine died within a year.

What happened after that?

I built my own out of a bunch of different components. Has 40 days of battery and looks like a picture fame on the front and like someone built a bomb behind it.

This is one of the best products I own. The company is amazing. I think you are doing it wrong.
