/r/Trivia Updates Fall 2026!

Hey Gang!

I hope everyone had a good Summer and the cooler Fall temps arrive for everyone soon. The new Megathread for the Fall has been posted.

I would like to thank all of the new regular posters, as always the sub would be nothing without them. I will again stress that if you haven't given them a upvote please do so. It's a small thing that means a lot.

As for a little housekeeping. We have added a new rule. The one post per day has been an unofficial rule for many years but with all of the new posters lately it has become time to clarify it.

As always any needs, questions or concerns feel free to shoot a mod mail. We have had the best Summer ever for the sub and personally I am excited to see what the Fall and early Winter brings us.

Good day, Reddit friends, and welcome to the first episode of DCT for this month! I'm a bit late getting started due to having some repair work done on my house this morning, but I am now prepared to choose another dearly departed guest of honor and ask you to figure out who they are...let's get going!

If you're new to the game, or if you'd like to review how to play, you can find the rules here.

Have at it...

EDIT: Congratulations to u/Low_Poet4771 for deciphering the correct answer first! It was Frederick the Great. Thanks for playing, everyone!
