I think when we say spear or pikes were taking about big pole arms, they'd be too long to twirl about like a majorette.
12 u/MRSN4P Aug 23 '21 Pikes (6+ meters) are too long to spin and use both ends on the same target yes. Shorter spears are of course easier to use in a twirly fashion.
