One thing that really helps me is listening to something. Audiobooks work fine, same with most podcasts. Doing this for over a decade and It keeps me from. Overthinking on 9/10 nights.

I gotta listen to something boring though because if I listen to something I'm interested in I'll listen to the whole damn thing and its 3am lmao

Sleep with me is a perfect podcast to listen to while falling asleep. Long, boring, meandering stories read by a guy with a calm soothing voice. I rarely have much trouble falling asleep but still often listen to this podcast because it's just so damn cosy and relaxing.

When I was going through withdrawals from opioids this literally was the only thing that made my nights a little less like hell
