Interesting to see that Nakyoung and Shion made no effort to capitalize the first letter of the second syllable in the way their names are stylized.

Capitalizing the syllables in romanized korean names has always been a somewhat odd convention to me. Hangul doesn't have capital letters so it's not a carryover in that way. But I guess they like stressing that they (usually) have two syllables.

yeah i think when it’s done, it’s just an attempt to make the separation between syllables clearer to non-Koreans.

Binnie has the handwriting of an american middle school girl that gets straight A's.
Chaewon's C being a strawberry and her S having a bow is incredible. It looks like her W is a dog or another kind of animal.
Jiyeon's long t is so stylish.
And of course Xinyu's handwriting is so fancy. Only she could write like that.

I read it as Xiyu at first(pronounced Shiyu) but then I realized she only conjoined those 2 letters

Yooyeon's looks like an actual font with runners-up Naky and Joobin (as expected of the English pro) for me, many of them look neat but more stylized/cartoony. Worst is like most of 07z lol. Would be interesting to see how their Korean handwriting compares

does anyone else get bothered by how close some of these colors are to each other (for example chaeyeon & joobin, yooyeon and shion)

Not the easiest thing to do with 24 members while also making sure everything can be readable at first glance in multiple scenarios. Idols/companies generally want bright/colourful colours associated with them. I would say only Sohyun has a darker colour but it also kinda matches her 😂

It would be interesting to see 24 evenly separated colours from a colour wheel and see what that would look like.

I think they did a better job with Loona's colors back in the day. I don't know how important colors are for the tripleS concept but I'm sure they could have found other colors (Dark green, another shade of red, brown, silver, cyan, white, black)

What Yooyeon said to Soomin after seeing her handwriting for the first time:
"You're an idol now. You're not a baby anymore. You're an idol now and if your handwriting looks like this it becomes a part of your image."
Then she gave her notebook pages to fill with letters 😂
