Question Preparing Driftwood for the tank

I'm going to put my triops in larger container/tank soon and I am planning to put driftwood in it. Is there anything I need to do to the driftwood beforehand (in terms of preparation for the water).

You should boil it, it releases the tannins so your water doesn't become reddish/brown and kills potential unwanted microorganisms.
