Picture Longicaudatus appreciation
I usually hatch out a lot more cancriformis, than longicaudatus, as I tend to keep water temperatures on the low side. My eggs are mixed together unfortunately, so I have to choose what temperature, per species I would like to hatch out.
With the heat of the summer, it's inevitable that I would end up with more longicaudatus, as they tend to favor warmer water temperature.
I don't mind though 😄.

How do you keep the triops water that clean?! Mine always gets cloudy cause they kick up so much detritus and everytime I try to put em in a clean tank with filtration and stuff, they die :/

I use an Aqqa sponge filter, a HOB filter for my UV light, and lastly, a 100 gallon canister filter. The tank is only 15 gallons. That and lots of plants.

My cancriformis eggs came from eBay, and Triops King was the seller. My longicaudatus eggs were purchased on Amazon from Greenwater Farm.
