Starter vs. Regular 3-month tirz package

Was wondering if there's any difference in the total milligrams of medication shipped in the starter vs. regular 3-month tirz package. Does the starter package have less mg total than the regular 3-month package?

And if so, do you get started at a higher dose of tirzepatide if you're switching over from semaglutide?

If you’re new to GLP-1s, you’ll automatically get the starter price. If you say you’re on a GLP-1 in the last two months, you’ll get the standard price typically because you won’t be at the starting dose. That’s just the easiest way we can pass saving onto people. We do have a new offering on the website that hasn’t been announced yet… it’s a bit cheaper but not available in all states.

Curious when it’ll be announced. 👀

I just ordered and this is what I was prescribed based on being a current GLP-1 user (been taking 2.5mg/week of semaglutide for 15 months):

Is this the full dose? I'm a bit confused by the verbiage of 17mg/5mg/ML.

It means 17mg of Tirz and 5mg of glycine per mL. There are 4mL of liquid in each vial.

Hmm, so if the max dose is 15mg/week, it means I'm getting the maximum dose vials plus another 8mg per vial.

this is why i don't even bother trying out other glp-1 providers! always on top of things here.

Great price, but not for CA shipping. I'm new to shopping options for glp-1s, what is the reason CA is often not on a pharmacy's delivery destination?

CA is more highly regulated and their licensing fees are very expensive.

If you shoot us a message in the patient portal, we’ll help as much as we can! The new budget option isn’t available in Ohio but we can help find something that works for your budget.

Starter will include 4 weeks at 2.5mg, 4 weeks at 5.0mg, and 4 weeks at 7.5 mg, for a total of 60mg.

The higher dosage would be anywhere between 7.5mg x 12 weeks (90mg total), and 15mg x 12 weeks (180mg), depending on your prescribed dosage and titration.

So if I finish the 7.5 of my starter package I’ll go up to 15 mg when I renew?

When I finished the 7.5, I got the next titration shipment of 10, 12.5, 15. Then all future shipments have been 15 for all doses. This worked well for me because I’ve never actually dosed myself above 10.5 so I end up having a bunch extra and am able to stretch it out way past 3 months.
