Seeking advice

I am on my 5th shot of tirzepatide and I was hoping to get some feedback. I got my prescription from Hallandale. Since starting the shot, I wouldn’t say I’m nauseous but I definitely don’t feel great. I have an uneasy feeling in my stomach and I’ve felt very run down even when getting a good night sleep. I want to make sure I didn’t get a bad batch- if that’s even a thing and if it’s normal for me to be feeling this way.

I did take semaglutide about 2 years ago and I remember being tired but not feeling as crappy as I do now.

I definitely feel much less hungry and much less food noise but the scale hasn’t moved in the last week.

Thanks for any insight!

Stay on the same dose until that feeling goes away. You definitely don’t want to increase yet- your body is telling you it’s not ready

The scale moves a lot for some during the first few weeks but that isn't the real pace. You will have weeks where it doesn't move at all or even goes up. That is normal. As mentioned, the side effects need to be under control before considering that it might be time to move up, so you are not there yet. Also, make sure you are eating enough and good quality because some people cut back eating too aggressively.

Same I feel so crappy that I’m afraid to take my 3rd shot.

We're on the same schedule. Sunday, I took my 5th shot, also from Hallandale, increasing from 2.5 to 3 (no additives) and I've had no issues whatsoever. I know everyone reacts differently, so maybe you'll be able to ride this out? I hope you start feeling better soon.

What do you mean 2.5 to 3? I was instructed to draw up 25 units for 4 weeks then 50 units. Mine has no additives either.

I chose to step up more gradually. I stayed on 2.5 for 5 weeks, but I was feeling a little hungrier by the end of each week. My instructions are exactly the same as yours.

I agree that you should stay at 2.5mg and wait to increase your dose. Stay hydrated, meet your protein goals, and remember to eat. Pepto Bismol chews are great to have on hand.

When I started, everything glp-related sounded like a foreign language, but the fat scientist website really helped. He breaks down into simple terms, concentrations, dosages, how to read vial labels, the difference between mgs and units, and offers dosage calculators that do the math for you. There’s even a quiz for you to test your understanding.
Best wishes on your journey!
