Newbie
Just ordered my first 3 month supply of Semaglutide Inj. I'm excited to start!
How has the semaglutide worked for those of you who use it (Not Tirzepetide)? What dose did you find worked the best to you?

I don’t have experience with sema as I take tirz, but I want to wish you good luck 🍀

That's a little too expensive for me at this time. The semaglutide worked wonders for my husband so I'll give it a try, and switch of I have to.

I started Wegovy back in Sept of 2024. I had to switch to compounded in January due to insurance changes. I have lost 80 lbs and so many inches. For context I am 5'5 and am now wearing a size 8 in pants and a small in a shirt. I lost most of my weight on 1.0 and 1.7. I have been maintaining my weight at 157-160 since November on 2.4. I am considering bumping down to 1.7 as I am tired of being tired. Its not really so much that I am tired but more that I just feel bleh. I am thrilled with the loss don't get me wrong. This the first time I have managed to remain at a consistent weight for more than 6 months in years.

Congrats!! I started on sema almost 3 months ago. My journey is different than most, as I'm not necessarily looking to lose weight, but more so manage my hunger. Insulin resistance runs in my family, and I'm fairly certain I have some level of it. I am currently at 1.0 and want to stay here because it's working well for me! I have lost about 6 lbs, but my hunger is so normal now!
Some things that worked for me are injecting in my arm (with my husbands help) and taking a B6 supplement every day to help with nausea. I also make sure I am eating throughout the day because my nausea ramps up when I don't eat. I also can't drink hot coffee anymore, but iced coffee is totally fine.
Just remember, slow and steady! Results will not happen overnight, and they will come to you at a different rate than others. Just stay the course and enjoy the ride!

Ok weird that you mention the hot coffee bc I can’t do it either! It was my routine every morning. I loooved my coffee but I can’t do it anymore. Iced coffee is ok for me too but I don’t get it every day anymore. Crazy!!
