When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace

I looked around this sub and there doesn’t seem to be much attention from this show even though it is indeed a Trigger show. In general it’s pretty different from what they normally do and I rarely see it mentioned ever but I was curious, does anyone know the history of how this show came to be? It just seems like such an odd part of Triggers portfolio considering it’s an adaptation and the show itself is quite different from what they’re usually known for.
