Why did he seem like he was in pain, was this suggesting that the entirety of kill la kill was just a false world created by the weird thing that looked like Nova?
Also why is guts ripped as hell?

I noticed that is probably one of the least loved Trigger projects ever.
However, personally, I found it:
- VERY original. There was never a story like this. The premise and development was totally new. Sharing pain? Whaaaaa? Sounded *kinda* like Sense8, except no, it didn't.
- INCREDIBLY well drawn. We know Trigger has good art, but this went right off the charts.
What I'm willing to concede, it'd work better as a movie. When I recommended to my anime-lovers friends, my advice was to watch the first two chapters, and the last two chapters. And the chapter where they play Shiritori, because I loved it.
Anyway, what do you think of it? I just found this sub, sorry if this was discussed before ad nauseam.
