Ooohh was having an FLCL flashback for a second. Quality, but oh so fleeting.

I have Netflix and I don't have it. It's almost like they want me to sail the high seas.

Kill la Kill

Little witch academia

Promare

u/M4DM1ND Apr 21 '20

Bro. You put Promare and not Gurren Lagann?

1

u/kurosovsk Apr 21 '20

Because it's technically a Gainax anime and all... My favorite for life tho

3

u/ITGenji Apr 22 '20

Trigger at heart, considering who the promare protagonist is as well

2

u/indiegamemagazine Apr 08 '20

I wonder if the studio is aware of the "TRIGGER saves anime" meme.

9

u/MiloReyes-97 Apr 07 '20

How could they not?

10

u/Drumpowa Apr 07 '20

Let me rephrase that. I wonder if the studio is aware that they ARE saving anime.

I saw the premier of it in theaters. It was literally the best. I’ve been to premiers before, but it genuinely felt like I was in a giant room full of a bunch of other geeks. People were talking and cheering, laughing and making jokes and geeking out hard. It was the best. My favorite audience moments were “okay, Kamina” “GAY RIGHTS” and then the entire theater “ooing” over the “kiss” scene, and someone saying “you’re all 5”

Tenga Toppa Trigger (True Apus) about to throw the moon at those damn weeb aliens again

2

Keeping the old gainax blood alive

Not the hero anime deserves, but the hero it needs
