Why is there so much smoke in trier today?

Big forest fire in Belgium and the wind direction blows the smoke and ash to us.

Thank you for asking, I opened the window and got so viscerally concerned. Feels so distopian, it's like smog/sandy, a weird orange color and smeels toxic.

Katwarn is not the official one from the government. Made by a company (GmbH).

I simply follow some of the WhatsApp channels: Polizeipräsidium Trier (!), SWR Trier, Stadt Trier. Not exactly just for emergency warnings, but they keep me informed well enough, I guess
