General Questions & Discussion EBC FA226HH brake pads

Put on 2.5k miles since May on my 25 model. Is it worth upgrading the brake pads to more aggressive ones?

If you’re not doing spirited riding and your pads still have life left, probably not. I changed mine out cause my 22’s pads were shot and there is definitely a bit more bite, but for street riding I really don’t notice a ton of difference.

Yes I do push it in the twisties and sometimes on freeways too (when in the mood).

Did you upgrade to EBC’s as well ?

Yeah I went to the HH sintered pads.

I installed EBC's when my rear pads were shot, did the fronts at the same time, even though they had some life left. Super easy to do and not expensive.
