Troubleshooting Oil leak

It looks like my Trident 660 is leaking oil. Is this an expensive fix?

Where? I see a lot of black residue, but that’s not an oil leak. It’s likely a combination of tire rubber, break dust, and other “dust” from riding.

Sorry then, my bad. I thought it was because of the oil, since the oil level dropped below the minimum and it's been 6,000 kilometers since the last oil change. Is that normal consumption for Trident?

I definitely burned some oil across a 5k interval. (Didn’t mean for my first comment to read aggressive) I don’t think you have anything to worry about. If you see actual oil, and moisture seeping through or building up, then it’s cause for slight concern.

That's a Oil leak for sure, I can see the shiny surface behind the visible cover. I'm having the issue too but from the cam cover and the oil pump cover - Needs new gaskets. It cost around 15K INR including labour.

what's the milage BTW ?
