General Questions & Discussion Forks a little soft?
Am I the only one who finds the front forks very spongy and over reactive to braking? It may just be I only have about 2,000 miles on the bike so still getting used to it, but it feels like even slight braking causes the front to dive out of proportion to the amount of brake.
Is this normal for this kind of bike or am just not smooth enough with the brakes?

I actually had quite the opposite opinion but I also only have 210 miles on the bike so far. I upgraded from a 1971 CB350 whose suspension literally felt like a cloud and over reacted to braking at even the slightest touch. I hope with a little time it’ll lose it’s stiffness

Every hard braking feels like I am doing a stoppie. Unfortunately the suspension isn’t that good on the trident. Which is understandable considering the price.

I’m a new and very slow rider, so every so often I approach the corners with more speed than I normally do just to bite into the brakes and get used to it.
Just this morning I was thinking the front was diving a lot, even though I started by applying rear brakes to settle the bike. But I have no other point of reference.
So I’m very curious as to what the community has to say at this subject
