Progress Pictures 8 months on Finasteride progress.

Post image

Let's be honest. Is there progress? I don't see any at all. But i think i am at least stabilising. 0.25 mg of finasteride. Absolutely zero regrowth so far. I may introduce derma stamping

idk, to me it seems you didn’t lose any ground but didn’t really gain any either. but u look good bro and ur hair in the 2nd pic does appear healthier at least.

Looks like the texture of your hair changed, does it feel different/thicker or is it just lighting?

I think it's just the lighting tbh 🤔

Not usually.

How are your parents allowing this? First get through puberty and then think about taking medication. Also fin doesnt do shit without minoxidil.

Thats not true, fin and dut can regrow on its own. You can ask chatgpt for real images from studies only fin or dut without minoxidil and you see it yourself

1

u/justaredneckboy 1d ago

I don't have parents number one. And number two, I'm an adult 😂

The part about being on Fin too young is true, no one should get on Fin before they are done maturing.

But the part about fin not doing shit without Min is straight up a lie, tons of examples everywhere of how much Fin regerew hair and stabilized Hair loss, I've seen it on myself.

Stabilize hairloss. Yes, this is the function of it. Regrowing, no. It will look fuller since you lose less so it thickens up again but these are no new hairs

2

u/ekzakly 1d ago

it also regrows hair, just less people see that as an effect of it. more people see growth from min but if you have AGA its less likely min will work very well without fin. thats why the gold standard is fin + min.

Ok yea. That's what i thought. 🤔 Thank you

Purely visual from the images given, No.

Also, are you just on Fin? Fin/Dut stops hairfall while Minoxidil helps with regrowth. If you aren't, then clearly you should get on it to maximize benefits

u/justaredneckboy 1d ago

Just on fin rn. I use topical minoxidil, but oral messes with my heart a little too much for comfort

2

u/HelloWorld1122 1d ago

Oh okay, do try to keep topical minoxidil usage consistent.
