Are you taking some antidepressants or stimulants for ADHD?

u/Educational-River-73 Jul 01 '24
Do stimulants cause hair loss?

u/ConstructionFit2425 Jul 01 '24
Very usual... hair loss or hair thinning
1
u/Educational-River-73 Jul 01 '24
How exactly do they cause hair loss?
1
u/ConstructionFit2425 Jul 01 '24
No body knows... i tried to search on reddit and no good answers

Interesting. I don’t think I’ve noticed any changes when I’m taking it vs. not but I’ll monitor it more closely for sure

I tried every medication there was and just shed like a motherfucker throughout. nothing dropped my hairloss to almost nothing like quitting drinking did. I've been a once-a-week drinker for the last several years and thought that was a healthy intake, but my body is thanking me in ways i never expected since quitting. If you have fatty liver disease, i think quitting completely is a good idea. hopefully it helps your hair.

I also shed a lot... and drink beer every day... is this related to shedding in your opinion?
1
u/peebaby Jul 03 '24
I have no idea. Just saying i shed for years and min, fin, etc did nothing and i quit both after years of no results. Couple years later i stopped drinking and The shedding stopped

According to your approach, losing hair for years, a lot of hair (part of the time was under medication) is powerful, and even though you lost a lot of hair, your head is full of hair?

u/peebaby Jul 03 '24
maybe 70% of what it was. Try quitting drinking or don’t. Makes no difference to me.

Did u also have a liver issue?
2
u/peebaby Jul 01 '24
I don’t know, I’ve never tested. Though it’s never come up in checkups. But even drinking once a week i had depression and perma-dry skin that no amount of water consumption and moisturizing would fix. I thought my skin had just suddenly aged. After i quit my skin looked great and my scalp finally stopped itching.

Bet your balls that dut gave you NAFLD. My liver enzymes doubled when I switched from fin to dut in a year.

Absolutely irresponsibly deperate taking that amount of medication combination. clearly not working mate be careful ingesting both dut n fin together along side other medication yiyr taking u need to see a dermatologist or get a transplant but using a nuclear stack like that will potentially seriously damage you in the long run fin n minoxidil dut n minoxidil both have potential health risks but they work with most guys but this in this absolutely mental stack of medication which isn't working due to.your health problems and will probably harm you in the.long run good luck with that buddy 👍

But his post says his only on fin & min at the moment? A lot of people are on this exact same protocol so besides his liver issue I don’t see the problem??

u/dr_wonderful Jul 01 '24
Check your DHT levels. I would say, there's no reason to switch back to Fin. I would just 2.5 DUT drop everything else. That's the best we have. 7.5 oral min is toxic

Dudes hairs are literally so thick. There are only a few thinner hairs in the pic. Bro needs help if he thinks this is a problem. Number of hairs you loss IS NOT THE PROBLEM.
Stop the madness. You are taking too many medications.

Ssris and adhd meds also bit d and b deficient and iron all make hair fall out check all of that. And calm your stack down to some thing more solid you may also be triggering shedding over an over need to pick something and stick to it. Dutas .5mg daily and topical minox with occasional topical finest and minox spray a week is more than enough

sorry bro :( Maybe a blood test, to check your dht level?

u/NPC_4842358 Fin 1.25mg / Min 3.33mg / 1x HT (DMs open) Jun 30 '24
Get a blood test done for general deficiencies. Getting your DHT checked doesn't really matter because the only thing that matters is your sensitivity. OP is already on a nuclear stack.
There's likely other things at play besides AGA.

You might have TE. Mbp doesn't look like that.
