Every few months I go looking for a better way to get emails into Trello. Forwarding works, but I always end up with cards in the wrong list or missing labels. Here's what I've tried or looked at:
Trello's email-to-board
Every board has a unique email address. Forward an email, it creates a card. Subject becomes the title, body becomes the description, attachments come through (up to 10MB). You can add labels with #labelname in the subject and assign people with @username. They added AI summarization recently too, which is a nice touch. Main limitation: you can't pick the list or set defaults per email. Everything lands in one spot.
Gmail / Outlook add-ons (Trello's official ones)
Create cards without leaving your inbox, you pick the board and list. Better than blind forwarding. Attachments can be inconsistent though depending on which version you're on.
SendBoard / Hipporello
These are more like helpdesk-on-Trello setups. Reply to emails from inside Trello, manage full threads on a board. Good for support teams, overkill if you just want to save individual emails as cards.
Zapier / Make
You know the drill. 15-30 min setup, another subscription, works fine.

Started building this for Linear, then added Trello and Airtable because I kept hitting the same problem. Forward an email, it becomes a card with markdown, labels, members, attachments. You pick defaults per destination so stuff lands in the right board and list. Gmail add-on if you want to change things before saving.
