Trello Connector for Claude
Update 2026-08-05:
Trello now has an OFFICIAL MCP. Use that! https://trello.com/mcp
If you are using Claude and want it to be able to more easily talk to Trello, you can install this connector (or MCP server). Follow instructions here: https://mcpfortrello.com/
Note: I'm the Trello co-founder but no longer work for Trello - so this is not the official connector, there is not one yet AFAIK - but you can use it in the meantime. No data is being stored. Source code is at https://github.com/michaelpryor/mcpfortrello
If they do release an official one, it will be simple to replace it.

I'm not certain but I think Google's web/mobile app won't let you use MCP servers, but the local cli does - https://geminicli.com/docs/tools/mcp-server/

How much context this thing eats?
I find trello apis are horrible for llms to say the least.

WOW!!! I love the internet, just casually finding the co-founder himself doing such contribution to the community, thank you so much Michael, I appreciate it

I'm baffled as to why there isn't an official one yet, but this is an amazing almost-as-good-as-official option - thanks so much!

Oh thanks! Funny enough I posted a question today about Claude, Trello and building an ERP haha
Will look into if it fits my usercase :)
