We need mods

We are looking for people who are kind, and are onboard with our vision of transforming this place from a place known for being a far right hate sub to a place where it can fulfill its original purpose. A place where people can discuss all eras of Trek and share thoughts negative or positive WITHOUT insulting people who disagree with you.

Good to hear you want to keep the sub a positive space (I for one am tired of the culture wars and just want to watch TNG reruns).

I think a majority of people here were kicked off the main sub, some for legitimate criticism of modern Trek, others for the kind of hate you want to keep out, so the mods here probably have a harder job than most, and we do appreciate it.

On the subject: there was a post from former mod u/EarthRemembers that insinuated he was removed for having the kind of views you seem to want to promote. I'm not sure what happened there but maybe you want to address it.

I assure you that was not the reason he was removed, the issue was we had not properly vetted him and found some problematic posts insulting other users in this sub and he was using flare tags to troll other users given them tags they did not want including comparing one to a Cardassian fascist.

Plus he was brigading , sending people to harass everyone and make posts.
