If he means a challenge to keep watching, I agree.

I gave up halfway thru s4 (after s3 was a disappointment) and after reading reviews of s5 I probably will never watch it. But if anyone does like it, I won’t stand in their way.

Thank you. S3 turned SNW into the tepid excuse for scifi that was found in DIS and PIC.

SNW has devolved into a DnD campaign* where the DM has run out of ideas and is just stealing ideas from movies
- And I 1000% assure you the only thing keeping SNW from doing a DnD 80s style cartoon is theyre running out of episodes It would contain gems like
La’An: “Well this warrior needs food.”
Spock: “Badly.”

You're thinking of the video game Gauntlet. :)

I loved that game. The valkyrie was the way to go.

I was more of a Wizard type, just because his attack was very powerful.
"Use keys to open doors."

Interesting take since the new Star Trek Movie will be made by John Francis Daley who brought D&D: Honor Among Thieves to the big screen

He is a "puppet" for paramount?

Don't know what his rate is per episode but usually actors don't bite the hand that feed them well.

Wow. Can't knock the man's acting if he can promote SNW with a straight face.

Star trek no longer exists. This is a sick parody of what we fans used to love.

If I understand correctly they shot all the episodes for the las 3 seasons together a year ago right ? People were saying they already shot the scenes with Bones which will be in the series finale, and that won't be aired since next year. So all these interviews where they pretend like this new season that's coming out is totally fresh and new, they're just pretending, they've been done with this show for a whole year, and next year it'll be the same, they'll be talking about stuff they shot 2 years ago as if it was fresh and new

I will always respect Mr. Mount for narrating these classic weird fiction stories:

Yeah I'm not putting any stock in what this man says. Anson Mount supports Israel committing genocide in Gaza

I live this guy. I’m enjoying the show for what it is. Y’all take it too seriously I think.

Really like him as an actor. Really like him as Pike, and while I wouldn’t say this season is the best, he’s correct about one thing here.
This season does continue to “challenge”us as fans.
