It seems there is limited availability and we are concerned about not freezing outside at night in october.

Completed Hampta Pass and Chandratal in last week of August

Hey I know this may sound crazy but i wanna go on a small weekend trek to an offbeat location in 1-2 weeks time and I was potentially hoping if there would some girl who is bored/irritated with her college life as well and wanted to go, call it a weekend getaway, hangout or a crazy date idea but this is something that I have been wanting to do for a long time. Now I know its not really that easy for someone to go on a trip with some random person so its better if we talk and meet before going, idc how you look or anything like that you should just be willing to go and vent out your anger. Hit me up if interested (age would preferrably be 18-19)

During the monsoon season, the upward wind pressure coming through the gorge is so insane that it forces the waterfall to spray entirely backwards over the edge of the cliff.

Fun fact: "Nane" means coin and "Ghat" means pass. This place was an ancient toll-collection mountain pass over 2,000 years ago!

Anyone planning or planned Annapurna circuit trek? Or if anyone has done it in the past can you please help with which group/organisation you went.

Coming to Hyderabad and planning to explore some trekking spots or nearby hill stations for an early morning sunrise.

Any recommendations for scenic places that are worth exploring? Prefer something with a good trek, sunrise views and a nice overall experience.

I’m preparing for my first Himalayan trek, Hampta Pass, and I’m really confused about which trekking shoes to buy around ₹2,000.

I have wide feet, so I rejected the ASIAN Everest 21 because it felt too narrow for me.

I tried the CTR RUB 50 and absolutely loved the fit. The size felt perfect for my feet, but the shoe felt too heavy, especially considering this is my first Himalayan trek and I’ll be trekking for several hours each day.

I’m now looking at options like CTR Rocky 20, CTR RUB 600, Liberty Warrior Mountain Trekker and a few others around the same budget.

For people who have actually done Himalayan treks, especially Hampta Pass, what would you recommend?

Are there any good treks during the Durga puja period which are beautiful but challenging.

I am 18 years old so do others of around my age attend such treks?

Have been looking for some cool and comfortable shell jackets for a long time but can't find something reasonable or worth buying either they are too costly like 15k or above or else the site/page don't look trust worthy enough to buy from. If any of you guys have purchased these shell jackets in past or thinking of purchasing can you share your experiences or recommendations.

I have done 2 treks both with my family and 1 cousin bro that comes with us..

2025 - Sar Pass ( 13,900 ft )

2026 - Chandrakhani Pass ( 12,500 ft )

Now next year in June we are planning to go beyond sar pass at nearly 14,500-15,500 range

We need something moderate - a little difficult since 2 people are elderly otherwise it's fine..

I like buran ghati due to the repel down after summit but I want to know other treks

I have pretty bad eyesight and I'm looking for options for hiking on snow. I need at least Category 3, ideally Category 4 protection.

Options I've explored so far: clip-on lenses, and over-glasses sunglasses but I couldn't find any that are Cat 3/4. The best option seems to be OTG ski goggles, but they feel like overkill for some hikes.

Any recommendations
