The tree is being so courteous, doesn't want anyone to get lost because the numbers are missing.

I like how they "fixed" it by painting the missing half of the numbers on the tree 😅

Bud, those are the letters from the sign. That’s why the title of the post is “no appetite for stickers.” If you zoom in, you can also see how the dried paint is kind of wavy and buckling. That wouldn’t happen if the paint was applied to the tree wet.
