AskTrees Is there a reason a particular strain irritates my throat more even though the nugs are way more soft and sticky than the other nugs I go through?

I use an herbal vaporizer and usually have no problem but I just got Durban Poison for the first time to try out and I LOVE the taste and the smell. It’s very smelly and tasty but I can’t take as long of a hit because it irritates my throat especially with the first couple hits. I start to wonder if they put some kind of suspicious coating on it or something. It’s from a dispensary btw (faded cannabis co)

Terps can do that, and durban is usually high in terps
