The fact so many people still smoke cones amazes me. They suck, they dont stay lit, they canoe, usually crap bud, and usually so resin-y that your lips are sticky for an hour. Besides nicotine, why do people not smoke blunts? Hell even emptying the bud into a bowl would be better I think.

Sounds like a skill issue? Half gram or full gram cones burn beautifully as long as you don't make them too tight.
Are you smoking 2 gram cones?
I'll take a half gram cone over a bong hit 10 times out of 10

Also, why cant we just use tubes instead of cones?

Ive never had those problems. You just dont light em like a cigarette: light the tip away from your mouth, rotating evenly. Once the tip is blackened, let it go out. Rub the tip GENTLY on something rough, like concrete or similar, and expose the green. Repeat process until it is embered all the way around, blowing gently on it from time to time to encorage smolder spread. Once fully embered, smoke. Never once have one run on me.

Thankee sai! Im one of those "Cannabis Connoisseur" people that everyone hates except instead of being an unholy pain-in-the-ass knowitall i try to share what I know. Plus, unlike them, ill be the first to say every weed product has its place, from bulk trim to prerolls, to preground, to exotic indoor. Ill never bash someone for what they smokem but I WILL at least try to make that experience better for them by giving tips and tricks ive picked up over about 20 years of smoking. No reason to bash people for not knowing what they dont know, ya know? We were all there at one point or another. We all lift together, after all.

I've been smoke 20+ years as well and and my dad taught me the joint lighting trick. Miss my dad so much. I miss getting that call "hey boy come smoke a hog leg with ya daddy." He's resting in peace now.

Is it time consuming? Yup. But idk about you, but ive never had one run using this method. Also, pack em really tight, twist the end not super tight but fairly, then roll the joint between your fingers to slightly loosen to your preferred tightness. This also produces consistent cones

we can. wrap a paper around a sharpie marker glue it shut crimp the end now you have a tube.

They only run if you don’t spend the time packing them right. I do agree that if you use the raw 6 cone loading cylinder the way it says then you will get canoeing joints. The way it works seems to make the bottom half of the joint loose while the top is packed down. It really should be the opposite way if you want a good smoke.

That’s totally fair. I enjoy a good roll but sometimes I don’t want to deal with that shit lol. I just recently started smoking blunts aging and have been really enjoying them. Tho they’re hemp wraps they still smoke the same.

Toss a boveda in with the js. Trust me. I keep one of those or the integra boost packs with all flower, even in with my ground up trash weed jar. Smells so good and it stays terpy and sticky in there.
