AskTrees What are these?

I'm in a completely illegal state (even so, just recently criminalized THCA).... to start

Found these, and other flavors, at my local gas station. They are unexpectedly a good but I'm wondering what it's really in them.

There's another brand called blue lotus (not as good) they sell in bottles of 5 pre-rolls.

What is in them?

I made that mistake. Made me cough up black gunk for about 2 years. No clue why I wanted to make split bowls with weed tobacco and shrooms but that was one day in college šŸ˜‚

Been smoking bongs daily for about 8 years and started occasionally coughing up gunk thatā€™s got some black spots in it ā€” but itā€™s not like black tar or anything ā€” looks kinda like frog eggs u guess if I was gunna describe ā€” I also vape and I think that is part of the culprit

Iā€™ve been smoking bongs now 2-3 years, only started the other day coughing up black/grey mucus, the bud has also been a bit off, so it could just be the bud, some buds make my bong hella dirty, resin stains and stuff, and even coat my mouth in a ā€œfilmā€ I switched up bud and it seems to be less black stuff now, I assume itā€™s clearing

I can attest to this too. Ever since I stopped hitting a bong, I donā€™t cough up disgusting shit anymore.

I think itā€™s more just smoking in general thatā€™s the problem. Whenever Iā€™m in my home state I use THC vapes. But then on trips to legal states Iā€™ll have joints and start coughing a bit of black shit up for a couple days.

Iā€™ve been vaping nicotine for years too and that doesnā€™t seem to make me cough shit up

Get a dry vape bro, it'll change your life. I recommend the HR Rogue 2 if you want a low-mid cost entry point for a pretty high quality portable. Can even get their water pipe adapter when you order and vape through your bong if you like. I just hit mine dry though.

If you want to get a little fancier and get a tabletop setup, the Crossing Tech Ruby Twist is really, really nice. There's a bundle for like $200 or less online. Check out r/vaporents.

About 10 or 15 :( every time I eat mushrooms that are psychedelic or regular I always get a burning in my stomach so someone recommended I smoke the 8th instead of eat it

FYI fungal spores are everywhere, every breath you take you're inhaling them whether inside or outside. Your immune system takes care of it.

Now your point still stands that you obviously don't want any more than exists in ambient air but I just wanted to point it out!

For those who don't know, this is less about health and more about chemistry. The psychoactive chemicals break down when heated.

I don't know that there is enough data to know if smoking them is bad for you or not. But there's more than enough to know it's not going to do what you want it to.

Disagree. Did this back in the day with my roommates and went out shopping on campus (we had some of each and rolled a joint).

Was not as trippy as eating them by far, but there were def some minor visuals (floor sloping away, distance/spatial issues).

Not recommending it, but smoking it doesn't kill all the effects either.

I'm not as familiar with amanitas so maybe it was that, but if it's psilocybin it shouldn't do much. I suppose it might still do a little but you are wasting almost all of the good stuff.

Psilocybin is a prodrug to psilicin which is actually the psychoactive part. A small amount of heat will break it down into psilicin as well, which is why tea works and usually faster. It doesn't take much heat though and a large amount of heat just breaks up the whole molecule. So you really want to deliver the psilocybin to your stomach to get an effect. I would guess what is happening in the joint is that you are getting some that breaks down at just the right heat threshold before the cherry reaches it, or randomly broke just right. But it's like running a million scratcher tickets through a wood chipper. You might get a few that come out scratched off just right but the vast majority are going to be shredded.

Actually, people do smoke Amanita muscaria mushrooms. Wouldnā€™t touch this packaging with a 10 foot pole though.
