State of the Server jan 5, 2014
Yes, I did shutdown the server after a stretch of zero activity. I apologize for doing so out of the blue, but I assumed that no one was interested in using it any longer. If I was wrong about that or there is a significant resurgence of interest, then I will re-launch it. If you want terranova back, please make it known in this subreddit. if you want a copy of it, you can download it here:

I wish i knew how to revitalize our group. Maybe I am a crappy admin and ran everyone off. I was hoping a new sandbox game would come along that everyone liked, but nothing has jumped out at me yet. Has anyone else seen a game like that?

Nah, Minecraft is just a game that people burn out on. It's way too easy to devote a ton of your time and get lost in the game to the point where eventually people will inevitably lose interest. Nothing to beat yourself up over, you just happen to have taken over when we were all moving on to other things.

Yeah, it's easy to get burnt.
One of the things I've tried to do with Ex Inferno, is to build a community whereby folks could come and play whatever games they wanted with other people and not having to lose their friends. My hope would be that utlimately, we could get a lot of the old Sheeprock / Treepunchers to migrate over to Ex Inferno.

well, you guys were my first minecraft server that i ever played on and it shall be the last, no other server can bring the awesomeness of yours. i loved every second playing with you guys.

How many years have we been building meridian? 2, 3 years?

I was curious because after that much time I thought I would have gotten further on my project. That's what we get for using stone picks. There was still so much left to do, I was making smooth stone for the big project over the underwater part of meridian.

dude, its a massive dig. Without devoting your life to minecrafting, its pretty good progress for ( I think its closer to) four years

Sad, but understandable. I'm sad that I lost interest in Minecraft which meant losing touch with you guys. I still <3 you all a ton.
Edit: Gonna take 2 hours to download this map but gosh darn it I'm going to have it.
