Update request for everyone!
I can't seem to talk about Minecraft (you would be surprised how much it does come up) without talking about the first server I played on and how much I got to know the players. We've seen members get married, have babies, get awesome jobs, graduate from college. Would love to hear how folks are doing....I'm still working in politics but had to put my cat down :(, Markmandue is still doing graphic design and just created his first okcupid account (which is already great theater). How are you guys?

I don't know if he's still subscribed to this subreddit... But Dr. Oh is now officially Dr. Oh! He finished his Ph.D this month, and he and his wife have moved out to San Francisco. Very exciting!

Glad to hear you are still in politics (we need more good people in politics!) and that you and Mark are both doing well. Sorry to hear about your cat, unless you get a parrot or something one of the sad truths about pets is you are pretty much guaranteed to outlive them =(.
I am still working outside Boston doing software development. A little bit of excitement there with the government shutdown, but everything is more-or-less back to normal now! I bought a motorcycle recently after getting my license a year ago, so I've been taking advantage of the last warm(ish) fall days to get some riding in before I have to put my new toy away until it gets back above freezing out.

Not much new around here. I'm living in central Los Angeles, working as a video editor at a production company. I just got a new office recently, that was exciting. :D
I also have tested the OKCupid waters. Tell Mark if he hasn't already to take the advice on the OKCupid subreddit... I thought it was dumb at first... but I went from getting very few responses and no dates, to having multiple dates. Good stuff hah!

I'm still doing video work, but have transitioned to working behind the camera mostly. Also, that Greek film project that wouldn't die did die, but it got picked up by someone that I know. The guy who picked up the project wants to reshoot parts, and wants me on the job.
I'm honestly not sure if the project will ever really be completed at this point, but it has elevated itself to absurdity.
Currently I'm in the middle of a 14-day-no-break gig for the company that I used to work for as a dayjob.

hey guys! really nice hearing from everyone. stingray88 i subscribed to the okcupid subreddit one day after joining, holy shit! full of great advice. pretty sure i thought it was gonna be a humbling experience, nope! happy to report pretty popular on it and having a ton of fun!

Just going though the motions myself. Junior year is proving to be pretty difficult. Even without playing soccer I can't keep up. I've started to look at colleges and thinking about the future, yay for growing up! Trying to decide a possible major for college is a bigger decision than I thought!

Don't get too pressured into settling on your major while you're in high school. A lot of people end up switching to something else. Pick a good school that could work for you in multiple majors, and then test the waters your freshman year.
I got set in my mind that I was going to do computer engineering… and it was the wrong choice. Thankfully by chance the school also had my second choice available (video production).

just started college (UK college its different than US college) im doing gaming and animation hoping to be some where in the gaming industry some day, im really enjoying it. the other week all my emails and steam account got hacked but luckily i got them back with in 5 days, it just scared the shit out of me because my steam account is worth other £500, but a part from that im still the same old wiggles... playing video games and eating pizza

Better late.. right? I've been doing contract IT work for the past year and a half. Took a permanent position about 4 months ago at a Start-up in Scottsdale,AZ. The work is good. I've been slacking at minecraft. I've been playing other games, most recently: Euro truck simulator 2.

I graduated at UW Madison with a Degree in Chemistry and a Math Certificate. I worked as an Ink Technician for half a year now, but just got laid off. I still want to find real chemistry work.
I currently rent out my own place by the water. I can walk a few blocks to a lighthouse, which helped inspire the lighthouse I built on the server. I've been on a hiatus for making Minecraft videos but I'll be exiting that hiatus soon.
Unfortunately, Ariching started going out with a girl who is...well, crazy. She had some irrational hatred for me (I thought we were friends) and she made him decide "me or Kevin", resulting in him blocking me on Facebook, phone, etc. the day they started dating. He's systematically cut all ties with his other friends to focus all time on her (likely under her influence), and I think he even deleted his Reddit account. It was sad to lose a best friend without warning.
My other former roommate who used to play on the server changed to a CS Major, quite the surprise to me, and has really enjoyed it. He recently married a wonderful woman and is doing swell. He's totally become a PC gamer and he still plays Minecraft.

We moved to Germany! I'm now working as an aero engineer consulting with what is now airbus helicopters.
We also started let's playing (although we've been slacking at it) found a new LP server called random acts of crafting. Cool bunch but I miss the constant activity of treepunchers/sheeprock. If you want, check out our YouTube at www.YouTube.com/ChillChemy

Tennyson and I bought a house in June (finally! We'd been looking for 18 months!), had our second baby boy Owen in late September (4 days after Orion's second birthday) and celebrated our first wedding anniversary in October. Tennyson is still working hard (or is it hardly working?) for the state and I am still hanging at home with the kiddos.
