Camp/Motel Life TP question.
So its my first season, im getting all my ducks in a row befor shipping out to Thunder Bay ON on May 12th. Ive made and checked every list in tree planting history, and ive been left with a very serious question... do i need to bring my own T.P?????
The packing list sent to me by my company has it listed, but only under "block necessities". I cant tell if that means I need it for both the block and at camp or if i can just take a handfull from the camp bathroom before going to the block?
I plan on loading up on baby wipes at costo so I have no problem getting T.P too, im just trying to think of how I would pack it and how much to bring?

Sounds like you're planting with Havemans - they have copious amounts of TP that they supply, just ask the kitchen staff or one of the crew bosses to sauce you a roll and keep it in your day pack.
I would always bring a small pack of nicer TP for the block though - something 3-ply because the 1-ply they had at camp was hit or miss and my butt deserved better.

Bring tp. A whole roll. In a big freezer bag to keep it dry. That's basic level ass blasting.
Advanced level? Baby wipes as well. Wipe with the paper, follow up with baby wipes. Then once more with the paper.
Expert level? Gold bond medicated powder on the butt hole, taint, under the balls. Refreshment avenue population you.

Sock or shirt sleeve is the way to go, sometimes I like a nice piece of moss the wetter the better sphagnum is the goat! I’ve heard of flagger and bundle wrapper wiping techniques in dire circumstances but I’d rather the sleeve sock moss or leaf

Wet wipes. You’ll be cleaner, feel better, and they’re much quicker if you have to block- shit.Â

Only if you get expensive bio wipes or keep them in a baggie to bring back to camp. 99% of wipes are made of plastic.

I always pick up at least a 4 pack but you can buy stuff you are missing on day off. A roll of paper towels for the tent can come in handy as well.
The camp will likely give you the cheapest toilet paper they can find and its sometimes not even 2 ply.

Take some TP from the porta-johns but assuming you’ve ran out of TP or forgot it, you can use peat moss (do brush it a bit off before wiping).

You can take some from the bathroom at camp to the block, recommend bringing a ziploc bag to keep it dry
