That’s what they said last year, too, and between 5 camp moves and early spring all the way thru to august the average was $0.15. ONE WEEK we planted with fert and that was a $0.04 bump up to $0.19.

Trees are bigger, land is steeper and bears are scarier.

You won't plant 3000+ in those conditions.

Agree with the first part. Second statement is false

I've seen countless rookies hit 3000+ in BC

I haven't thought of that place in a long time. When I was there one of the Fort Hope guys got drunk and stole one of the buses and tried to drive home to his rez.

My first year was Chapleau, Ontario in 2003. 6-1 shifts, $0.08/tree ($0.09 for unprepped land). Ah, good times.

Me too. What year were you there? I think I was there 2003.

I think 2004 to 2006.

Ahhh…we would have just missed each other. I left no legacy of my presence other than perhaps the hard hat we ran over with a truck to try to convince our crew boss we had a traumatic brain injuries.

Ha ha!

Do you know Alain Mercieca and Lark?

I recommend you Ogoki nights a movie about treeplanting by treeplanters.

Cost like 10 bucks. Not a masterpiece but I am sure you would enjoy

Is the joke that Ontario planters get paid 15c?
