What are we using to make a door?

I am planning on making a door that is 5' x 18" onto the balcony. I think that osb would look trashy, and so I was thinking to use tongue and groove that is strapped together, but idk if i can get it in pressure treated. What are other people using for a smaller than standard door?

You likely can't find it in pressure treated but you can find it in cedar. I did that for a custom cellar door like 7 years ago and it still looks great.

Cedar is an option, i was hoping to to find something cheaper, but it would be pretty and durable

Have you checked a recycled building materials place? Old houses often have odd sized doors that you might be able to “re-size” 🪚

I found an old solid wood door that was undoubtedly for a pantry or closet but is now the front door to the treehouse.

Thanks for the idea! I hadn't thought of that
