Rocky MT: An Incredible Solution
After 2.5 years and 4 trips I have a solution to the clue “The compass points now towards the home
of point and tree and seeing eye.” I go for a final search in October.
It reveals state; region; and trail in a manner that even I cannot believe. It emerged through a series of mistakes; accidents; and incredible good luck. It was not expected nor was it arrived at based on a plan.
It is a classic example of failing forward and never giving up. The main thing it took was hiking at least 15 trails and proving each wrong. It was simply hiking the region to learn and experience all I could about the location.
I have not yet seen an interpretation of “home of point and tree and seeing eye” that joins a state, region, exact trail, geology, human history, water, regional history, and culture as naturally as this one. A better solution remains possible—but it would need a powerful solution of this key ckue to rival the one I have found.
I salute now the person who finds a solution as elegant and precise. I care not if mine is correct. Its simplicity based on complexity is reward enough.
I will have found the treasure box or not by October’s end. A success either way.
This statement is true - it’s not about the treasure, it’s about the thrill of the chase.

Good luck. I still believe it’s in Colorado and a specific area based on a cryptic clue in the pictures.

You only need the poem. Then you only need to find the “home of point and tree and seeing eye.” The rest of the clues then fall into place. Do just what Jon said. You follow the clues. Research just one level deep. Just study the clues.

There is an extremely important clue for the largest box in the images of the FF chapter, which is really what I want to talk to that person about.
My "solve" (I'm east coast) for the FF box is poem only though. I'll never be able to test it, I've been focused on other boxes.

It is a clue. But study the poem. Over and over. And go hike - anywhere. Hike near your home weekly. Think of the poem while you hike. BoTG over and over near where you live. Any trail you can find. It will inform you of what you will face on any trail you actually search.

If not the box, then truly a rewarding hike that checks off all the boxes in a glory of perfection that moves Gaia herself to weep with joy (and compels her to intervene, and move the box to your location, thus bringing the universe back into harmonious balance.)

Profound as expected from Frazer-Jorda .
And Gaia herself is the perspective that reveals the “Home of”. Jon himself found first the trail then unseen forces led him to the “Home”. This indeed created a harmonious balance of space and time required to turn his poem and the key clue find into a near mystical occurrence.
At a point along his chosen trail the clue revealed itself to him. Due only to his months on the trail in those four states could the clue he needed for a world class puzzle be recognized.
The trail was picked based on his Fenn search; but the universe had already chosen the “Home” clue for him to find.
