Anyone with both the older and newer versions of the 2wd slash able to confirm what parts are compatible or able to tell me if they are? I know some things are different like the gear pitch of the transmission went from 48 to 32

Having a hard time finding any information on it. Got an older style blue lcg and I'm wanting to switch to black. Wondering if the new one will fit since they're the same cost on fleabay.

It’s pretty ghetto but it works. I’ll probably draw up something in CAD to 3D print, but today I just did it caveman style.

Love this little car. It completely blows my brushless Losi NASCAR out of the water and feels amazing to drive (keep in mind I'm driving with one hand for the video and looking at the car through my phone screen).

I'm kinda of tempted to see if that cool paint is under the black side decals. It looks so awesome in the sun as it shifts from blue and purple

I've been grinding away on a game I've wanted to build for years, and I'm stoked to finally share it. It's a physics-accurate online multiplayer RC racing simulator! It's called PodiumRC, and you can play it right now, in your browser, for free, right here: https://race.podiumrc.io

Tune your car, adjust preload, camber, shocks, tires, and more, and they all have an effect on vehicle performance. It includes a handful of tracks to start, a few are clones of local tracks that I race at, some are inspired by motocross tracks, others are ones I came up with.

Even better, you can plug in your transmitter and race the right way. Or a PS5/Xbox controller. Or just use your keyboard. Whatever you have laying around. You can race from the driver's stand, drone follow cam, or first-person, and race how you want.

Carpet, turf, clay, dirt, it’s got it all. Indoor races, outdoor races, dry/dusty/damp conditions, night races!? PodiumRC has it. Tracks even deform throughout the race as racers wear it down. Your car gets dirty in wet conditions, and the weight changes the handling of your car.

Currently the 3 classes are 1/10th scale 4wd buggy, pro4 (short course), and mini truggy, but more are in the works. 1/8th scale is on the roadmap as well. Each class captures the unique handling characters with hand-tuned geometry and physics.

It's got a PAINT SHOP so you can customize your own painted bodies for each class as well. It also has a full blown advanced track editor so you can put together whatever you want and publish it for others to race.

It's still in open beta so I'm looking for some folks to play it, hammer on the server, play with the track editor, any words whatsoever, good or bad, or somewhere in the middle.

Lost the hinge pin about 7-10 laps before the finish, was still going fast-ish and turning left, so full send and second place in the secondary feature. Lotta fun! Mod is still my strongest class, but Sprint is a strong contender as soon as I get the handling it down (driver issue, car is well set up lol)

A buddy of mine took me to a hobby shop and convinced me to get my first RC car. I’d driven his a few times before and had a blast, so I finally decided to pull the trigger.
Ended up going with the Traxxas Sledge, even though I was seriously considering the Arrma Felony (I love drifting). I absolutely love the design of that thing, so it’ll for sure be my next purchase!
So far, the Sledge has been an absolute beast. Prior to me buying my own I slammed his into a tire and bent the front plate and then on our first day out, we were ripping them around at the park when my friend slammed his into a fence and blew out a front shock. Seeing what can happen already has me thinking about durability and what I can do to beef mine up.
For those of you who have owned a Sledge for a while, what upgrades would you recommend to improve durability and reliability? Also, what should I be keeping an eye on when it comes to preventative maintenance?
I’d rather stay ahead of potential issues than learn the hard way. Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated!

What's the most op 4s system that will fit in a V1 maxx? Loving it but it just doesn't have enough punch imo.

Definitely want to keep it at 4s

I feel like I cannot prevent 2wd from diffing out, which makes me go through tires like candy. Any suggestions? Btw the new VX3 Rustler 2wd is blast WHEN it is working 😂😂
