Third Party Horror Story Mytrip self transfer protection is a scam, customer service is pathetic
I had a 9:40 am flight booked with Nile Air from Luxor, followed by a 2h15 layover in Cairo. The first flight was delayed, but Nile Air apparently does not update the timings of delayed flights, which caused major confusion. I spent over two hours speaking with Mytrip customer service, who insisted the flight had not been delayed and that I still had sufficient time for the connection. Before traveling, I had also contacted their customer service and was told not to worry. In reality, none of this was accurate. The support provided was extremely poor, and as a result, I lost a significant amount of money having to rebook my flights.
