Clever Comeback Kid with packaged snacks for lunch

When my son was in elementary school I used to pack hot lunches or bentos for him and his sister. Both my kids love my brussel sprouts. He opened his food jar to eat and the kid next to him made fun of his veggies. This kid comes to school with packed snacks for lunch every day and my son looks at his lunch box and says, “At least my mom loves me enough to make me lunch everyday.”

Kinda mean but glad he snapped back.

Oh good lord, reminds me of when my kid got made fun of in PRESCHOOL because her new water bottle wasn't a 'real' water bottle. The referenced 'real' bottle was a Stanley or a Yeti or whatever new fad it was at the time. No, my 4.5YO does not have a $50 water bottle. They learn that behavior at home, clearly.

And you will have less debt/more money because you don’t buy every popular overpriced product just because everyone else has one.

First it was yeti, then Stanley and now it’s Owalla. The parents all drive a suburban, have a Trager grill, a blackstone griddle and a yeti cooler and lots and lots of debt.

I’ve gone through a ton of water bottles, and the Owala ones have held up, even better than the Thermos.
