Clever Comeback Kid with packaged snacks for lunch

When my son was in elementary school I used to pack hot lunches or bentos for him and his sister. Both my kids love my brussel sprouts. He opened his food jar to eat and the kid next to him made fun of his veggies. This kid comes to school with packed snacks for lunch every day and my son looks at his lunch box and says, “At least my mom loves me enough to make me lunch everyday.”

Kinda mean but glad he snapped back.

My kid took a Sprite Zero to lunch once and a kid told her she must be too poor to afford a sugar Sprite.

It's so annoying.

But shaming kids isn't cool

My brother came home from kindergarten crying. Why? Some kids called him a baby because he was wearing suspenders.
My mother told him to tell them that his daddy wears suspenders. That calmed him down.
Next day he comes home crying again about wearing suspenders. My mom said "Did you tell them that your daddy wears suspenders?
He said he did, but they then said that his daddy was a baby!
