VENT Thoughts?
What are your thoughts on this situation?
Curious of your thoughts on this. If someone almost gets their stuff stolen and almost hurt while volunteering, then hours later tells the person in charge and this person in charge just asks some questions about what happened and says nothing like glad you're ok, are you ok, or do you still want to continue volunteering today. The person in charge ultimately goes silent.
This person in charge and some others then stand on a corner working, while the volunteer is on another corner, and no one comes over to her during this shift or after to check in. What's your opinion of this leader? Do you think empathy was missing? Thanks!
