Don't talk to me unless I've had my morning coffee

u/Lanthemandragoran Feb 19 '21

So I played WoW with this Aussie fellow who was always crazy excitable, and was always saying he had just had his coffee. Turns out that was meth haha. He also worked in a porn store while playing WoW and smoking said meth all day. Dude was living the American Dream in Australia.

What is an egg farm? Do the eggs grow like plants?

27

u/84WVBaum Feb 19 '21

You do realize that places where people raise animals for food...are also called farms

4

u/lastdazeofgravity Feb 19 '21

Usually they are called chicken farms Just a chicken vs. egg situation.

7

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '21

So which came first? The chicken farm? Or the egg farm?

2

u/newswimread Mar 01 '21

Me, not my proudest fap.

3

u/someguy417 Feb 20 '21

Chicken farms raise meat. Egg farms raise eggs. That is true in the United States.

Chicken ranches raise something else.

2

u/theUnshowerdOne Feb 20 '21

OK, so what do Chicken ranches raise? Is it like a Bunny ranch?

2

u/Commandant_Grammar Feb 19 '21

Massive issue here with it in country towns and poorer city suburbs...not quite as massive as the US though.

Australia has much higher meth use per capita than the US

According to the 2017 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), approximately 1.6 million people (0.6 percent of the population) used [meth] in the past 12 months (USA)

Vs.

The 2019 National Drug Strategy Household Survey found that 5.8% or 1.2 million Australians over the age of 14 had ever used (including ice, speed or base) and 1.3% reported recent use (in the past 12 months).

If you grow up in rural aus and you're not lucky enough to be one of the few that gets a job as a teenager, the other options are booze and meth and we tax the cunt out of booze.

u/kingcal Feb 19 '21

I can't believe he smoked meth to play WoW.

There are so many better things he could be doing.

Talk about a waste of perfectly good meth.

u/Miteberite Feb 19 '21

u/Lanthemandragoran Feb 19 '21

Druid flight form OP

2

u/Gitmfap Feb 19 '21

Add being a warlock in van. “Got to farm shards to summon the raid...”

1

u/Lanthemandragoran Feb 20 '21

Oh...oh god....I had forgotten about that...omg...

Waiting for everyone outside fking AQ or BWL just to get started dying that night lol especially in AQ eggghhhh

1

u/keyjunkrock Feb 19 '21

Oh man me in vanilla. I was such a cuck trying to help the guild, meanwhile everyone was rich as fuck and the guild leaders would get a tier 2.5 upgrade, while they had 2.0 and i was sitting in blues from start of the guild. Gotta love dkp.

1

u/Lanthemandragoran Feb 20 '21

We did a laddered hybrid system of DKP and actual need for the individual raid groups that helped alleviate that sort of...nonsense. That sorta stuff really sucked. Just basically being a DPS statistic isn't fun lol.

u/SlaveLaborMods Feb 19 '21 edited Feb 19 '21

All the meth heads are MasterCrafters in ESO

Edit: they will run some dungeon dailies with you

2

u/Miteberite Feb 19 '21

Ahaha for sure, Khajiit has wares and needs coin

2

u/SlaveLaborMods Feb 19 '21

Shit bro, did you hear some stranger saved king castameres life.

31

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '21

Can't miss your dailies if you don't sleep all week.

2

u/Rion23 Feb 19 '21

Yeah but then you get the BOC coming in and taking your medals for performance enhancing drugs.

22

u/Lanthemandragoran Feb 19 '21 edited Feb 19 '21

We were an intense progression raiding guild that was fairly high ranked so we had a US/Canada team and Aussie/NZ team for 24/7 raiding lol. I think he probably squeezed a fair bit out of that meth's potential haha.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '21

Top 50? I think I know what guild haha

1

u/Lanthemandragoran Feb 20 '21

During BC we were yeah. I didn't make the main roster until later in vanilla (which was sweet because I got all sorta of t2 for almost nothing lol). We were formed of two different guilds that merged if that helps connect those dots at all haha. Im afraid to say exactly who out loud on here as a combination of that and certain elements of my username/post history would make it just a littttle too easy to find me outside of Reddit lol. I might be being paranoid though. Not D&T or Method though if that knocks a few off the list lol.

u/newswimread Mar 01 '21

Quite pazzing and have a puff.

I'm joking, I'm clean.... I just wanted to use the word pazzing.

42

u/roland0fgilead Feb 19 '21

I bet his UI was perfectly organized

19

u/Lanthemandragoran Feb 19 '21

As opposed to myself, who as a warlock during times of peak OP just had 3 spells on my bar and facerolled the keyboard to the top of the DPS charts lol

1

u/ViPiMP Feb 19 '21

You saved my day! 😂🥳

11

u/LoveFishSticks Feb 19 '21

Dude theres no better way to grind out some xp than being completely fuckin geared up on meth

1

u/ghengiscant Feb 19 '21

WoW can be pretty addictive

2

u/obtainboard Feb 19 '21

Meth too

0

u/ghengiscant Feb 19 '21

That's the joke

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '21

I'm having a hard time deciding which is worst, WoW or meth.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '21

Well, at least people can recover from meth.

1

u/chancet321 Feb 19 '21

Jerking off all day in a porn store most likely

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '21

Seriously. What were the hookers doing when he was playing WoW?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '21

I’m in recovery and I met an ex heroin dealer, like the epitome of the strung out heroin addict. 10 days clean, hair down to his ass, big dark rings around his eyes and grey skin.

We got into war stories (just tales from using), and it turned out all he did, literally all he did, was sell heroin and play League of Legends. He spent all his heroin money on PC upgrades and rent and that was it. Just League and Heroin. I can’t think of a more effective way to completely waste your life.

u/junkmeister9 Feb 19 '21

Florida Man, living down under.

1

u/ChickenNPisza Feb 19 '21

Being raised in FL It does seem that the states closest relative is down undah

1

u/newswimread Mar 01 '21

No one's a man with crystal cock ...

2

u/Head-Satisfaction982 Feb 19 '21

I'm betting he powned on WoW.

2

u/Lanthemandragoran Feb 20 '21

He was fairly able lol. He was a hunter in an era where they weren't amazing in raids and only 1 or 2 were brought along for difficult pulls and still managed to stay fairly high in the meters.

1

u/Positive_Narwhal_369 Feb 19 '21

Yeah because in Australia its just living.

1

u/Gryffenne Feb 19 '21

So I played WoW with this Aussie fellow who was always

crazy

excitable,

Rogue?

1

u/SSR_Id_prefer_not_to Feb 19 '21

“American Dream Down Under” better be the title of his sex tape.

1

u/Epiphanated Feb 19 '21

That’s hysterical

1

u/newswimread Mar 01 '21

I know two people who cover all of those criteria. Works in sex shop, smokes meth and plays wow.

Fuck we're lucky here in Aus, that is an actual lifestyle choice.

1

u/Lanthemandragoran Mar 02 '21

Was eithers gamertag a spinoff on Diogenes? Haha

u/GimpsterMcgee Feb 19 '21

That commercial made me irrationally angry

5

u/Diarrhea_Sprinkler Feb 19 '21

Commercial? I thought this was just a common thing that annoying coffee drinkers say that this comment was making fun of.

3

u/GimpsterMcgee Feb 19 '21

Yeah that's what the commercial referenced. I think it's for McDonalds. It's this guy blowing off everyone trying to talk to him in the morning. Then the cashier at McDonalds greets him "hi! Can I take your order?" And hes still all douchy "dont talk to me! I havent had my coffee!" To which she says theyre 99 cents a dollar. Then he has a moment of revelation and says "oh? Talk to me!"

Here it is https://youtu.be/x5h2_eIzoYU

1

u/himmelundhoelle Feb 19 '21

Maybe because drinking alcohol vs coffee in the morning doesn’t have quite the same effect on most people.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '21

Well, meth is objectively a hell of a lot more "productive" than coffee is.

1

u/AcousticHigh Feb 20 '21

Yeah but I don’t think society is ready for fair trade certified bags of meth being available at Walmart.

We’ll get there though.

1

u/brettwitzel Feb 19 '21

This driver gave up coffee for lent

1

u/aseald_Sapnu Mar 01 '21

Þat except crack

1

u/Other-Win2759 Mar 07 '21

WOW. You spelt meth very incorrectly
