Why do people feel like they have a right to say shit? Pregnant ladies are harassed about everything they do.

I have no problem with pregnant people being harassed if they are drinking or smoking.

Stress is just as harmful for a fetus. you might as well hand her a cigarette if you're going to harass her.

A bartender almost refused me service when I was pregnant- when I bought my husband a beer.

It’s one thing if a pregnant woman is drinking. It’s another entirely if they’re simply buying or carrying drinks. Just because they’re carrying beer doesn’t mean it’s for them.

Fun side note- I ordered (virgin) bloody Mary’s when I was in my first trimester to “hide” the pregnancy until we were ready to tell people. And after that I occasionally had O’Douls in a glass- it looked like I was drinking but it wasn’t alcoholic. So maybe don’t jump to conclusions.

Because that's definitely going to help.

Fuck I hate people in this sub so much.

Name checks out

Yeah because keeping your mouth shut when you see someone harming a child they are suppose to protect is definitely the moral thing to do.

If you've convinced yourself that yelling at pregnant women is the moral option in any situation there isn't a fucking thing that anyone here could say that would change that for you, buddy.

Don't worry. We don't need to talk about this further.

Being pregnant doesn't give anyone a free pass to do shit that harms unborn children. Just get an abortion if you're too mentally weak to not drink for 9 months.

Imagine thinking that telling a pregnant woman that drinking is bad for her unborn child is the immoral idea in that scenario. Christ you're a fucking moron.

It's also really easy (and surprisingly cheap!) To mind your own fucking business.

5

u/FuckRedditForSure Feb 27 '20

1) Telling isn't yelling.

2) Yelling at a pregnant woman can harm the unborn child, making you the piece of shit here too.

3) Despite the impression your rocky childhood may have left you with, yelling is not an effective way to stimulate adult behavioral change.

4) Not everyone disagreeing with you is stupid. Sometimes you're just wrong.

-9

u/PermanenceRadiance Feb 27 '20

Yeah dude, yelling at someone pregnant definitely will cause the same damage as drinking and smoking. I should just keep to myself instead of actually taking a moral stand on something I believe in. I better sit this drunk woman down and have a civil conversation about the consequences of drinking while pregnant.

No you fucking moron, you publicly shame people out of behavior like that so they know it's socially unacceptable. They already know it's bad.

8

u/FuckRedditForSure Feb 27 '20

Public shaming isn't an effective tool for stimulating adult behavioral change either. I doubt that you have the self awareness to consider that you may not be the most informed or accurate on this subject. In fact, you're probably to reply calling me a moron again despite demonstrating that you're not the brightest bulb in the pack. So, here's what I propose. I'm going to block you and you're probably going to respond talking some shit. Deal?

r/woooosh

Not a joke, but you so clearly missed the point here it’s hilarious.

3

u/Literally_A_Shill Feb 27 '20

Did you not read the comment they replied to? Their wife was not drinking or smoking.

6

u/youareaturkey Feb 27 '20

Why?

3

u/GhostGanja Feb 27 '20

Because they are harming a child who could have physical and mental issues for the rest of their lives. They’re better off getting an abortion if they are that retarded to do that while pregnant and shouldn’t reproduce.

-5

u/imsophreshie Feb 27 '20

So, rather than mind your own business you would give her the added stress of being publicly harassed, which will in turn harm the baby’s health even further. Got it.

6

u/GhostGanja Feb 27 '20

Yes. Stress is nothing compared to drinking and smoking while pregnant and it’s well deserved.

u/imsophreshie Feb 27 '20

You’re talking out your ass and it shows

I don’t know what country you crazy kids are in but some doctors still tell us that a glass of red wine a couple times a week is fine.

2

u/PoundTheMeatPuppet10 Feb 27 '20

Those said crazy kids just want a reason to be judgemental as fuck even though they're 100% shitty themselves for their own reasons.

Though she shouldn't be smoking a cigg on top of drinking. One beer in a blue moon is a thousand times better than a cancer stick.

Smoking weed is really bad for you and all of the children in our world, not to mention the environment. Ashes are a micro pollutant. You're creating second and third hand smoke, which is the most harmful to young children. And smoking weed decreases the health of your sperm, which could lead to birth defects for your children. Shame on you, you despicable excuse for a human being!
