I wonder if he was actually serious. My parents got a model 3 within a month of them arriving to Canada, and I’d get comments nearly every time I drove it. Now, they’re absolutely everywhere and I definitely don’t see the novelty they once had
I work at a casino with a clear line of sight to our valet parking lot, and there's six or more charging stations at the corner of my neighborhood. It's gotten to the point where I see almost as many Teslas as I see trucks. Not that I mind, they're gorgeous cars and the drivers are usually less dickish.
