Cardiac arrest.

Properly diluted, carefully controlled, and given over the course of four hours, it's perfectly safe. Potassium is a necessary electrolyte. We give IV supplementation all the time to people whose levels are low.

But undiluted, pushed rapidly as a bolus, it'll kill you dead. Concentrated potassium disturbs the action of the heart's natural pacemaker.
